The Ultimate Family Takeover

#BNSTogetherApart

That’s the hashtag you’ll want to use on Monday, September 7th at exactly 1pm when you post pictures from this year’s virtual reunion and other past family reunions. We will flood everyone’s timeline on every social media platform with pictures of our loving family to show how strong our family bond is, even in times of quarantine.

FAQs

  1. Why are we doing this? Corona may have us all 6 feet apart but we can be united even at a distance. Using this hashtag will allow us to engage and connect with one another in the virtual world while creating an album of priceless memories linked specifically to this time.

  2. Does it matter if I post on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat, etc? Nope, please post on whatever social media platform(s) you feel most comfortable with; your posts are likely to have higher visibility and engagement on the platforms you’re most active on anyway. If you don’t use social media often, don’t worry! Your posts will still be seen by anyone who searches for the #BNSTogetherApart hashtag.

  3. What if I miss the 1pm mark? That’s okay – post anyway! We’re kicking off the takeover at 1pm but you can continue to (and we encourage you to!) post throughout the rest of the day.

  4. What should I be posting? Remember to take lots of pictures throughout the weekend! You’ll want to post photos of you and your family from this year’s virtual reunion and other past years’ reunions. Snapshots of your t-shirt, pictures of your banquet dinner plate and video clips from your talent show performance are a few great ideas too. There’s no pressure and the possibilities are endless. Just be creative and have fun with it!

  5. How can I see what the rest of the family has posted? Once we launch the takeover, just search for our hashtag #BNSTogetherApart on any social media platform to see what other family members have posted.
